Our team meets each woman where she is, walking alongside her as she heals, grows, and moves toward independence.

Through The Journey, our residential and non-residential restoration program, women receive Christ-centered, trauma-informed, holistic care addressing the whole person: spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational.

Restorative services include:

Individual and group counseling
Art and equine therapy
Medical and psychological care
Life skills, GED preparation, and employment readiness

The Haven

Miracles happen at The Haven! Miracles of hope, joy, peace, and healing...

The Haven is Mercy Gate’s residential program, providing a safe, structured environment where women can fully engage in The Journey. Here, residents receive personalized care through counseling, classes, and holistic therapies while being supported in their healing and growth toward independence. For those not in residential care, Mercy Gate offers the same level of support through a flexible, individualized nonresidential program that allows participants to maintain their daily responsibilities.

Aruka House

A 12-month period of stability and restoration in a residential community serving women who are survivors of trafficking, prostitution, addiction, and abuse.

After the initial period of assessment and rest, the participant will transition into The Journey Program. This 12-month program is also spent in the Magdalene House at this time, but plans are in place to expand into separate housing, called Arukah Homes by mid-2022.

In The Journey, they will progress through a four-phase program designed to produce mental, emotional, spiritual and medical stability. She will be monitored at all times, and formally evaluated monthly and may progress more quickly or more slowly through the phases depending on her individual needs. The phases will build on each other until the program is completed. The four phases are:
